WHY ME?

I have been following your work at Silk Factory for a few years now, and I have actually worked with Jodie, John and Nick on a few occasions as a composer on various projects, including a Paramount+ pitch with John and Nick and the DIVINITY Trailer pitch with Jodie. I really admire what you do at Silk Factory, and having the opportunity to work alongside your team on a few occasions, and to get to know a few of the crew has given me a real insight into the culture and the passion within the studio. I love the drive and dedication that is so evident within your entire team, when I was lucky enough to come and visit the studio I got a real sense of energy and passion I loved the feel of a vibrant creativity bustling within the air and I really felt at ease and comfortable within that atmosphere, so I believe I will be a perfect fit for the culture at the studio and within the team, where I can unleash the full capabilities of my creativity and skills.

On top of my vast creative experience spanning the last decade, I am an extremely diligent, organised and structured person inherently by nature. I am able to efficiently and effortlessly manage both my time and my collaborators’/colleagues’ time, not only within the creative industry as a professional managing administrative and organisational responsibilities, but also with almost a decade of experience in the hospitality sector in customer-facing roles with a strong focus on exceptional customer experience. I am a highly collaborative person and I approach everything with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage schedules, manage the workload of multiple ongoing projects and manage relations with clients/customers in a very personable but professional manner. I have experience with dozens of projects on which I have worked as the creative producer, with a handful of large-scale commercial products as executive producer, overseeing the creative production of small teams and managing the project from briefings with the directors, through the production and composition process, and to final delivery, experienced both as a project manager and as a part of a creative team and comfortable balancing multiple ongoing projects while meeting tight deadlines and prioritising appropriately. Through my experience balancing a range of projects simultaneously, I have adapted to working effectively under pressure and with tight deadlines, maintaining a calm and collected approach whilst remaining mindful and sensitive to the people around me, with a high level of written and verbal communication and fantastic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

I believe I can utilise these skills in this role to help the studio flow effortlessly and efficiently, and I believe these inherent character traits will allow me to become a crucial part of the team and an integral part of running the studio. I bring a genuinely unique perspective on creativity, with innovation at the heart of my work whilst working across large-scale commercial and niche, underground projects, this has allowed me to nurture a powerful ability to work across disciplines and mediums, with an intuitive sense of what a project needs to allow it to flourish, which I believe will enable to extract the most out of every opportunity and allow to become a crucial asset for the team. My two strongest qualities are my problem-solving and my ability to learn very quickly while applying and adapting my skillset, I cherish the opportunity to reinvent and repurpose my creativity with every unique project brief, I love the process of immersing myself fully into a project, challenging my own practice, and picking up new skills and tools to optimise my creativity.

ABOUT ME

I am an award-nominated Multimedia Artist and Interdisciplinary Creative with a Master’s degree with Distinction in Sound Arts from the University of Arts London, and a bachelor’s degree with a first-class honour from dBs Music Bristol.

As a multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary Creative, I have been immersed in the creative world for almost a decade, working across disciplines and collaborating across mediums, during that time I have amassed a vast, diverse & interchangeable skillset with a dedicated work ethic and ability to learn new skills & tools extremely quickly and adapt to new disciplines with fluidity. As an interdisciplinary digital creative and artist with years of experience creating brand strategies, tastemaker projects, and multimedia creative content across a diverse range of mediums & platforms, I have been immersed in the creative world for almost a decade, working and collaborating across disciplines, combined with strong curatorial skills I have developed over the last few years during my time studying both my undergraduate degree and especially my postgraduate degree in MA Sound Arts at the University of Arts London. All of this experience combined with my years and years of managing creative projects and brands, has given me a keen eye for consistent brand image and creative content strategy, from ideation to content creation and execution, conceptualizing and implementing creative campaigns & strategies across platforms and media formats for almost a decade, with years of experience creating both written & visual content, collaborating alongside a wide range of creatives and working with other artists and brands.

With almost a decade of experience and plenty of cross-disciplinary collaboration experience, I am fluent within the digital landscape across all major platforms. I have fantastic interpersonal & communication skills and a highly professional set of administrative knowledge, familiar with Adobe CS and fluent in MS Office, with a solid understanding of digital media & web content plus years of experience writing copy & editorial content. As a composer, I write original musical scores for award-winning short films & trailers plus media & advertising projects, and release electronic music as Know You, with a catalogue totalling almost 400,000 streams, collaborations with brands like the London College of Fashion, Sky Studios and Molecular Sound, and work featured at London Fashion Week and played across Sky TV, Sky Sports and global film festivals & publications such as i_D and KALTBLUT. As an interdisciplinary sound & media artist, I create multimedia compositions, experimental audio-visual & installation work, and immersive sound works, crafting bold & unique worlds at the intersection of science, technology & media with an innovative creative approach.

My experience over the years has contributed to a unique sense of creative, conceptual, and strategic thinking. I am highly organised, and detail-orientated, I’m certainly a perfectionist with my work, but I am very good at working under pressure and working with tight deadlines without sacrificing content, something I have streamlined with good time management. Able to learn extremely quickly, I approach everything with an eagerness to learn new tools and develop my craft. With a relentless drive, I am a highly adaptable & flexible creative with a diverse and interchangeable skillset across mediums.
